I spent my days as a wolf out on the run,
With a reckless pack and a loaded gun,
Chasin’ every hunger, every restless flame,
Didn’t see the dark, didn’t fear the grave.

We tore through nights, made a thousand bad calls,
Blamed it on the pack, but it wasn’t their fault,
‘Cause when I ran alone, it cut even deeper—
The enemy I fought was the man in the mirror.

It was all about me, what I could take,
Feedin’ my hunger, drownin’ in my ways…

You can’t reason with a wolf, can’t tame that fire,
It’ll drag you down, never satisfied desire,
You might not see it, you might not care,
But you’re runnin’ with the devil and he’s takin’ you there.

No honor in livin’ by the flesh and bone,
But you don’t even know that you ain’t your own,

Blind to the truth of your captivity.

Thought I had control, thought I knew the game,
But every road I took led me back to shame,

Till mercy found me in my darkest days.

Born where the sirens sing lullabies at night
Mama on the corner under flickering light
Learned how to talk just to stay alive
Every word a shield, every look a knife
Passed from house to house, name on a file
Different beds, same empty miles
Till his aunt took him out to the quiet streets
But the city never left his heartbeat
He wore his edge like armor skin
Wanted a place, but couldn’t fit in
Every circle closed before he got close
Never got what he wanted most

But something in the story wouldn’t let him go

Till one night proved—it was no dream
Showed up just to argue every single week
Tore apart our faith thought we were weak
“Dude had a dream,” he’d always say
Then Saul came up and he lost his way
Late night talks in a dim-lit room
Truth and doubt in a slow-burn duel
Something stirring he couldn’t name
Like a quiet fire under all that pain
But pain came crashing like a wave one night
Dropped him down where he couldn’t fight
Alone in the dark of that small apartment floor
He cried out loud like never before

Something calling from beneath his feet
Fear gripped tight, but he cried Your name
Louder than the darkness, louder than the pain
And when the morning broke, he couldn’t explain

Knock on the door with panic in his eyes
“Man, we gotta talk, I’m not alright”
Told the story, hands still shaking
Soul wide open, foundations breaking
“What will you say when they doubt your claim?”
He said, “I’ve been dreamin’ for 30 years, this ain’t the same

And I called His name, and He came for me
Right there in my reality
From the broken streets to saving grace
Found my truth in a desperate place
I once was blind, but now I see

But he spent them all speaking truth through tears
Every breath telling what he’d seen
About a God who meets you in between
Between the fear and the falling apart
Between the doubt and a searching heart

In The Beginning

Back before the sunrise lit up red clay roads,
Before the rivers ran and the north wind blew cold,
There was a voice in the silence, steady and true,
Spoke the world into motion like only He could do.
He carved out the heavens, laid the earth down right,
Hung the stars like lanterns in the dead of night.
In the beginning, He spoke it all to life,
From the dust of the ground to the stars in the sky,
Every heartbeat, every grain of sand,
Held together by His mighty hand.
And when I feel small in this amazing creation,
I remember every star’s been named—and so have I.
That Word was there when the first light shined,
Walkin’ with the Father ‘fore the hands of time,
Every mountain, every field, every hot spring,
All came alive through the King of kings.
Not a single thing was made by chance or fate,
Every breath I breathe was written on His page.

Held together by His mighty hand.
And when I feel lost in the dark alone,

He don’t grow weary, He don’t fade away,
Still holdin’ tomorrow and yesterday,
I look up at the moon on a quiet night,
And I see His fingerprints in silver light.
Countless stars in the broad sky above,
He knows each one—yet He called me through love.
He drew the line where the oceans rage,
Go no further, He told the waves
Laid the earth on a firm foundation,
Rejoiced in His own creation.
And through it all, through time and change,
His word stands strong—it don’t fade away.
In the beginning, and at the end of days,
When heaven and earth have both passed away,
His voice will still be callin’ out,
Through every fear, through every doubt.
So I’ll stand on truth that never dies,
The same God who named the stars…

That First Domino

It didn’t start with thunder, didn’t crash or make a sound
Just a quiet little whisper when no one was around
A thought I should’ve buried, but I let it hang around
Like a shadow in the corner slowly pullin’ me down
Was it just a second glance, lingered just too long?
Was it sayin’ “just this once” when I knew it was wrong?
A small exception made in the middle of the night
Didn’t seem like much back then, didn’t feel like a fight
What was that first domino, who gave it that first push?
Was it the devil’s crooked smile or my own foolish rush?
Was it love for things that fade, or the pull of the flesh?
One fell down, then another—now I can’t stop the rest
Yeah, they all came crashin’ fast, one by one in a row
It all begins, begins with that first domino
I told myself I’d stop it, I could walk away in time
But each fall made it easier to step across the line
Chain reaction in my life, couldn’t seem to break free
Every piece that hit the ground took a part of me
