Wolf or Warrior
I spent my days as a wolf out on the run,
With a reckless pack and a loaded gun,
Chasin’ every hunger, every restless flame,
Didn’t see the dark, didn’t fear the grave.
We tore through nights, made a thousand bad calls,
Blamed it on the pack, but it wasn’t their fault,
‘Cause when I ran alone, it cut even deeper—
The enemy I fought was the man in the mirror.
It was all about me, what I could take,
Feedin’ my hunger, drownin’ in my ways…
You can’t reason with a wolf, can’t tame that fire,
It’ll drag you down, never satisfied desire,
You might not see it, you might not care,
But you’re runnin’ with the devil and he’s takin’ you there.
Try to walk away, but you’re held within—
That’s the grip, that’s the power of sin.
No honor in livin’ by the flesh and bone,
But you don’t even know that you ain’t your own,
Chains on your soul but you call it free,
Blind to the truth of your captivity.
Thought I had control, thought I knew the game,
But every road I took led me back to shame,
Couldn’t break loose, couldn’t change my ways,
Till mercy found me in my darkest days.
Praise God, He stepped in, broke through the night,
Spoke truth to my soul, brought me into the light,
Opened my eyes, cut loose every chain,
Washed me in mercy, took away my shame.
Now I stand at the line where choices are made,
Serve King Jesus or go back to the grave…
I was born as a wolf, but I won’t stay the same,
I’ve been washed in the blood, I’ve been called by name,
No more runnin’ wild, no more livin’ lost,
I’m a warrior now ‘cause of what it cost.
Sin’ll take you farther than you wanna go,
Keep you longer than you ever thought you’d know,
But there’s freedom from the cage, yeah I testify—
Only King Jesus makes a man alive.
The call’s been made, the chains are gone,
Take up your cross, keep pressin’ on,
Hands to the plow, don’t turn around—
Put that wolf in the ground.
A new man stands where the old one died…
No longer a wolf—
I’m a warrior for Christ.
Ronnie
Born where the sirens sing lullabies at night
Mama on the corner under flickering light
Learned how to talk just to stay alive
Every word a shield, every look a knife
Passed from house to house, name on a file
Different beds, same empty miles
Till his aunt took him out to the quiet streets
But the city never left his heartbeat
He wore his edge like armor skin
Wanted a place, but couldn’t fit in
Every circle closed before he got close
Never got what he wanted most
He said, “It’s just a dream, man, don’t you see?
People chasing ghosts they wanna believe,
I’m a grown man, it’s all on me”
But something in the story wouldn’t let him go
A man turned around on a dusty road
From the winning side to the losing team
And it shook his world, cracked his schemes
Yeah, he fought, he laughed, he pushed, he screamed
Till one night proved—it was no dream
Showed up just to argue every single week
Tore apart our faith thought we were weak
“Dude had a dream,” he’d always say
Then Saul came up and he lost his way
Late night talks in a dim-lit room
Truth and doubt in a slow-burn duel
Something stirring he couldn’t name
Like a quiet fire under all that pain
But pain came crashing like a wave one night
Dropped him down where he couldn’t fight
Alone in the dark of that small apartment floor
He cried out loud like never before
No, this ain’t a dream, God, if You’re real
I need You now, I need to feel
But shadows moved where the light should be
Something calling from beneath his feet
Fear gripped tight, but he cried Your name
Louder than the darkness, louder than the pain
And when the morning broke, he couldn’t explain
But he knew deep down—it wasn’t a dream
Knock on the door with panic in his eyes
“Man, we gotta talk, I’m not alright”
Told the story, hands still shaking
Soul wide open, foundations breaking
“What will you say when they doubt your claim?”
He said, “I’ve been dreamin’ for 30 years, this ain’t the same
I don’t care what anyone believes
I know now… and I believe”
No, I won’t say it’s just a dream
I’ve seen the dark, I’ve heard it scream
And I called His name, and He came for me
Right there in my reality
From the broken streets to saving grace
Found my truth in a desperate place
I once was blind, but now I see
And I know for sure—this ain’t no dream
He didn’t live long, just a few more years
But he spent them all speaking truth through tears
Every breath telling what he’d seen
About a God who meets you in between
Between the fear and the falling apart
Between the doubt and a searching heart
Yeah, Ronnie’s story still echoes clean—
When God steps in… it’s no dream.
In The Beginning
Back before the sunrise lit up red clay roads,
Before the rivers ran and the north wind blew cold,
There was a voice in the silence, steady and true,
Spoke the world into motion like only He could do.
He carved out the heavens, laid the earth down right,
Hung the stars like lanterns in the dead of night.
In the beginning, He spoke it all to life,
From the dust of the ground to the stars in the sky,
Every heartbeat, every grain of sand,
Held together by His mighty hand.
And when I feel small in this amazing creation,
I remember every star’s been named—and so have I.
That Word was there when the first light shined,
Walkin’ with the Father ‘fore the hands of time,
Every mountain, every field, every hot spring,
All came alive through the King of kings.
Not a single thing was made by chance or fate,
Every breath I breathe was written on His page.
In the beginning, He spoke it all to life,
From the dust of the ground to the stars in the sky,
Every heartbeat, every grain of sand,
Held together by His mighty hand.
And when I feel lost in the dark alone,
I remember every star’s been named—and so have I.
He don’t grow weary, He don’t fade away,
Still holdin’ tomorrow and yesterday,
I look up at the moon on a quiet night,
And I see His fingerprints in silver light.
Countless stars in the broad sky above,
He knows each one—yet He called me through love.
He drew the line where the oceans rage,
Go no further, He told the waves
Laid the earth on a firm foundation,
Rejoiced in His own creation.
And through it all, through time and change,
His word stands strong—it don’t fade away.
In the beginning, and at the end of days,
When heaven and earth have both passed away,
His voice will still be callin’ out,
Through every fear, through every doubt.
So I’ll stand on truth that never dies,
The same God who named the stars…
Still calls me by mine.
Break These Chains
I need You, Lord
Please, break these chains –
I fall again, I feel the pain
I’m tired, Lord, to you I cry
Tired of livin’ a fool’s lie
Playin’ the hypocrite inside
Again I failed… Lord, I’m sorry
For every shadow in my soul
All this darkness takin’ hold
I feel like I’m finally free
Then the fire comes rushin’ back on me
Stronger than it used to be
Lord, please don’t give up on me
Break these chains, set me free
Kill the flesh that lives in me
Make me who I’m meant to be
Let Your Spirit breathe life in me
I said “never again” — but I lied
Now I’m drowning in the shame inside
Thought the old man finally died
So why’s he still alive?
I thought I was new in Christ
Left my past, left it crucified
But these voices in my mind
Pull me back every time
Your Word says confess and be made clean
So I fall down on my knees again
But how many times, Lord, how many times
Before You walk away from me?
Break these chains, set me free
I’ve got nothin’ left of me
I surrender now, take it all
Make this the last time I fall
If the old man’s dead, why’s he still playin’?
Why does this war in me keep ragin’?
I tried to fight to break free
But the flesh still has a grip on me!
Helpless… but not hopeless
My hope is alive in Him
Tomorrow’s a brand new dawn
By Your Spirit, I’ll overcome
Jesus, You conquered the grave
You broke the power of sin and shame
So renew a right spirit in me
Wash me clean, set my heart free
Break these chains, I’m cryin’ out
Burn the darkness, drown the doubt
Nothing left of who I was
Only You… only You, my God
Break these chains, let me remain
In Your love, in Your name
Take this life, let it be
No more me — just You IN me
Break these chains…
Break these chains…
Yeah… only You remain
Fight You Can’t See
Well I used to think my enemy
Was just what stood in my way
But the real war is what’s unseen
In the night and in the day
Yeah, it ain’t flesh and blood I’m facin’
It’s the darkness in between
Rulers in the shadows
Fightin’ for my soul unseen
But I ain’t alone in this fire
There’s a truth that sets me free
I’m in a fight you can’t see
But I got the Spirit inside of me
Peace like a river runs deep
Through the storm all around me
I’ve been called, I’ve been changed
By His power I’m set free
Yeah I’m standin’ on the promises
In this fight you can’t see
He gave me everything I need
For a life that’s set apart
From the chains of my old ways
To the peace in my heart
Faith to virtue, just as He said
Knowledge, self-control
Steady hands for what’s ahead
Love that overflows
Every step’s a higher road
Leadin’ where I’m meant to be
I’m in a fight you can’t see
But I got the Spirit inside of me
Peace like a river runs deep
Through the storm all around me
I’ve been called, I’ve been changed
By His power I’m set free
Yeah I’m standin’ on the promises
In this fight you can’t see
Like vessels of gold and clay
Decide what you’re gonna be
Gonna lay down what’s unworthy
Walk in honor as He’s called me
Chase the truth, run from fire
By the power of God, a changed desire
I’ve been redeemed, I’m not my own
And if I stumble, if I fall
There’s mercy callin’ me back home
I won’t live like I used to
Chasin’ every empty thrill
I’ve been set apart for somethin’
Gotta follow higher will
Mind renewed, I see it clearer
What is right, what is real
Offer up this life I’m livin’
‘Cuz the Truth of Christ has been revealed
I’m in a fight you can’t see
But I know who’s fightin’ for me
Light in the darkness breaks free
Chains are fallin’ off me
I’ve been called, I’ve been changed
Ain’t the man I used to be
Yeah I’m standin’ on the promises
In this fight you can’t see
Yeah I’m standin’ on the promises
In this fight you can’t see…
It Wasn’t Just A Chance
Dust on the Bible, red letters burn,
Words in the dark that the world won’t learn,
He didn’t come just to try and save,
Didn’t hang bleeding on a maybe grave.
He spoke their names before time began,
Written in scars on His nail-pierced hands,
Not for the crowd shoutin’ in the street,
But for the ones that the Father would keep.
Yeah, He said it plain, no compromise,
Truth don’t bend and it don’t apologize…
It wasn’t just a chance, it was a plan,
Not a hopeful reach, but a blood-bought stand,
When He said “It’s finished,” He meant every word,
Salvation wasn’t offered—it was secured.
For the sheep that hear when the Shepherd calls,
For the chosen few, not the world at large,
From the cross to the throne, yeah it all makes sense—
He didn’t make it possible…
He made it happen.
“I pray for them, not the world,” He said,
Those are hard lines in a world gone dead,
But truth cuts deep like a two-edged blade,
Separates the lost from the ones He saved.
Good Shepherd walkin’ into the night,
Layin’ it down for His own in sight,
Bought His church with a crimson flood,
Signed their names in redeeming blood.
Yeah, every drop had a name attached,
No wasted grace, no loose ends left…
It wasn’t just a chance, it was a plan,
Not a hopeful reach, but a blood-bought stand,
When He said “It’s finished,” He meant every word,
Salvation wasn’t offered—it was secured.
For the scattered sons from every land,
Every tribe, every tongue in His command,
Yeah the cross don’t fail, it don’t relent—
He didn’t make it possible…
He made it happen.
Not a gamble, not a guess,
Not dependent on your yes,
Ransom paid for many, not all,
Every chosen one will hear that call.
Brothers brought from death to life,
Freed from chains, no longer slaves to night,
If God is for us—who stands against?
The grave is empty… the verdict’s set.
Yeah… it wasn’t just a chance…
No, it wasn’t just a chance…
It was written in blood, sealed in grace,
Every elect one, known by name,
From the hill to the throne where He intercedes,
Every soul He died for—He redeems.
No one lost that His Father gave,
Not one slips through that borrowed grave,
From first to last, it’s heaven-sent—
He didn’t make it possible…
He made it happen.
Yeah the Shepherd don’t lose what’s His…
Not one… not ever… amen.
Before The World Began
I heard it whispered before time breathed
Before the dust and the galaxies
A promise spoken, a silent decree
Between the Father and the Son for me
Not written down in the stars we see
But carved in grace eternally
A crown, a cross, a human frame
Love would carry the weight of shame
And You stepped down into our place
Bound by law, yet full of grace
Before the world began, You chose the way
To wear our flesh, to take our place
Faithful Son, obedient to death
You held my life in Your last breath
And I don’t understand it all
Why mercy answered when I fall
But I know this truth will always stand—
You loved me before the world began
You walked the law I could not keep
Every command buried so deep
Prophet speaking the Father’s voice
Priest and King by sovereign choice
Bruised and broken, yet standing still
Trusting fully the Father’s will
A throne of glory, a crown of thorns
The Heir of heaven, for sinners torn
And every step was sovereign grace
Every wound would take my place
Before the world began, You chose the way
To wear our flesh, to take our place
Faithful Son, obedient to death
You held my life in Your last breath
And I don’t understand it all
Why mercy answered when I fall
But I know this truth will always stand—
You loved me before the world began
Spirit fall, write it on my heart
What was promised from the start
Not by will or work of man
But by the Lamb, the perfect plan
Names engraved before the light
Called from darkness into sight
Adopted sons, we cry Your name
“Abba Father,” through the flame
You are the Chosen…
The faithful One…
The Lamb slain…
Before time begun…
Before the world began, You chose the way
To wear my sin and wash it away
Risen King, now glorified
The nations tremble, the Church Your bride
And I will sing through every age
Of sovereign love, of boundless grace
Forever held within Your hand—
You loved me before the world began
So I will trust, and I will obey
Through every doubt, through every day
Triune God, my hope, my stand…
You loved me before the world began
That First Domino
It didn’t start with thunder, didn’t crash or make a sound
Just a quiet little whisper when no one was around
A thought I should’ve buried, but I let it hang around
Like a shadow in the corner slowly pullin’ me down
Was it just a second glance, lingered just too long?
Was it sayin’ “just this once” when I knew it was wrong?
A small exception made in the middle of the night
Didn’t seem like much back then, didn’t feel like a fight
What was that first domino, who gave it that first push?
Was it the devil’s crooked smile or my own foolish rush?
Was it love for things that fade, or the pull of the flesh?
One fell down, then another—now I can’t stop the rest
Yeah, they all came crashin’ fast, one by one in a row
It all begins, begins with that first domino
I told myself I’d stop it, I could walk away in time
But each fall made it easier to step across the line
Chain reaction in my life, couldn’t seem to break free
Every piece that hit the ground took a part of me
Now I’m standin’ in the wreckage of the man I used to be
Tryin’ to trace it back to what caused the first to tip on me
Was it pride, was it hunger, was it something in my heart?
All I know is once it tipped, it tore my world apart
What was that first domino, who gave it that first push?
Was it the devil’s empty lies or my own careless hush?
Was it chasin’ after dust, was it givin’ in to flesh?
One fell down, then another—left me tangled in the mess
Yeah, they all came crashin’ fast, like a runaway train
That first domino fell, leading to the shame
Blessed is the man who fights, who stands his ground
The one who remains steadfast when trials come around
So I’m pickin’ up the pieces, gonna set ‘em straight again
Prayin’ I’ll be stronger when that first one leans within
‘Cause it all comes down to not letting that first domino tip again…
Teach Me Your Paths
To You, O Lord, I lift my soul tonight
Out here where the stars burn low and bright
I’ve been running hard, trying to outrun shame
But I’m calling on Your mercy just the same
I ain’t asking for silver, I ain’t asking for gold
Just a steady hand when the nights get cold
Let not my enemies laugh me down
Plant my feet on higher ground
I’ve been waiting, Lord, out on this line
Trusting You in Your own time
Show me Your roads through the wild unknown
Teach my heart where I belong
Lead me in truth when I can’t see clear
You’re the voice I’m trying to hear
All day long, I’ll wait on You
Through every storm I’m walking through
Your love’s the map, Your grace the flame
Lord, remember me just the same
Don’t remember all the foolish years
All my wandering, all my fears
But remember love that don’t run dry
The kind that lifts a broken life
You’re good and right, You guide the lost
You show the way no matter the cost
The humble find where Your paths begin
And mercy writes over all my sin
Show me Your roads through the wild unknown
You’re the voice I’m trying to hear
All day long, I’ll wait on You
Through every storm I’m walking through
Your love’s the map, Your grace the flame
Lord, remember me just the same
When I’m lonely on this broken trail
And my strength and faith begin to fail
When the weight of trouble fills my chest
You’re the only place I rest
Pull my feet from every snare
Remind me, Lord, You’re always there
Guard my soul, don’t let me fall
Be my refuge through it all
I see the fear, I feel the fight
Enemies in the dead of night
But I’ll take my stand, I won’t let go
You’re the only truth I know
Integrity be my guide
Keep me walking, side by side
With the One who holds my days
And leads me through His righteous ways
Show me Your roads through the wild unknown
Teach my heart where I belong
Lead me in truth when I can’t see clear
You’re the voice I’m trying to hear
All my life, I’ll wait on You
With every breath, my faith stays true
Your love’s the map, Your grace the flame
Lord, redeem us in Your name
Out on that dust road…
Ain’t walking alone…
No… never alone…
