Acts 8:3
But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison.
- Saul was a religious leader who had great influence and position
- He was very zealous to destroy those of “The Way” (Christians)
- Then he had a dramatic encounter with the risen Christ
- The same religious leaders that gave him authority to hunt down Christians now wanted Saul dead for preaching about Jesus
- They finally did kill him for preaching the Gospel, but not before he wrote 25% of the New Testament
- The conversion of Saul is 1 of 2 of the great mysteries skeptics can’t explain away
This is an awesome real miracle story! What a blessing to have story like this to prove that no matter where someone is at in life, Jesus can enter, if asked, and make us whole with His Gift of eternal life with Jesus! This is why we all must be bold everyday! We should be trying to open doors for others all around us, by out loud asking those if they would like to know more so they may have a second chance or third or fourth to except this free gift God offers. Why are we afraid? Do we not want to see our friends, family and everyone else have this chance to except Jesus! What a Gift Jesus offers! He truly loves us humans so much!! Be BOLD in Jesus Name!
